If people don’t admit that alcohol is a drug so help me God I will pour an entire bottle of wine on their hair.

Wine? Drugs. Beer? Drugs. That awful cocktail you made in your dorm room out of leftover coffee and orange juice and tequila? D-d-d-drugs.

This may sound obvious to you but society at large puts alcohol in this removed category away from other drugs. If you tell most wine moms that they have a drug problem they’d be appalled that you’d ever say such a thing. It’s just time for humanity to admit that we like doing drugs. Most people’s drug of choice just happens to be alcohol.

Also caffeine is a drug but like, it’s so baked into our culture because so many people rely on it to get through the workday, which should really say something about our relationship with work but that’s not a conversation the powers that be are eager to have

Today in transphobic idiocy…

Avery Jackson did a non-medical transition at the age of four. At the time, they felt more comfortable as a girl. As they grew up and their understanding of gender evolved, they decided nonbinary transgender suited them better.

And now that they are 15, their family is moving out of Missouri because they fear the recent draconian anti-trans laws.

“No longer identifies as a girl” does not mean they identify as a boy. They are still trans. They knew from the age of 4 that being a boy was not right for them.

I don’t think they changed their mind. I think they just found a better understanding of who they were.

These bigots know nothing about trans people yet think they are qualified to criticize them.

being a palestinian living in the west is so difficult because you could explain in thorough detail the hardship and suffering you and your family and all your friends families went through and are STILL going through while under occupation and white people at MOST will be like “oh well thank you for sharing your perspective!”

it’s NOT my “perspective”. it’s my reality and it’s my families reality and it’s every palestinians reality and every day we face the news of death and massacres. every day we lose loved ones. every day we sit as our voices are silenced by western media and israeli propaganda and we mourn our innocent loved ones who died at the hands of apartheid and occupation.

every time i return back to my homeland- i see posters of all the people israel has killed. i see posters on the streets and on the walls everywhere of men, women, and children who were killed for simply being born as themselves.

every time my family walks through our cities, my dad points at a poster of martyrs and goes “he was my friend. israel killed him. i miss him every day.”

we’d walk for hours and my dad would point to another poster and another poster and another poster and say “he was my friend. i miss him.” and it feels awful. my dad can never have that time with his friends again, and he can never go back without seeing another one of his friends faces on the walls of our cities.

it’s not just a “perspective”.

you need to understand that with every genocide israel is committing, we lose more and more every day. and just because we’re in the west doesn’t make what’s happening in palestine any less important.

nothing will make you think “i have got to get weirder” more than finally feeling comfortable enough around other people to admit to interests of yours that you think make you a freak and a weirdo only to realize with a combination of embarrassment and relief that you’re like a normie to them

“sicko feedback loop” is a warrior’s bond stronger and more meaningful than marriage

One important thing that you should do as a queer person is to find another queer person whose brain works just like yours (romantically or not) and then adopt a cat together and then finally steal that fucking Pikachu and make it big
